From the Excel QM ribbon, select Menu (Alphabetical or By Chapter). Select Transportation from the dropdown menu, and then input 4 Origins (sources) and 4 Destinations.
After entering the costs, click the Data tabs and select Solver. Then click Solve.
A data table, from row 9 to row 14, has the column headers Detroit, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, and Supply. The row headers are Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, Pittsburgh, Seattle, and Demand. This table is filled with costs, supplies, and demands. All the data in this table are shown shaded.
Fill in the table with the costs, supplies, and demands.
The row values for Cincinnati are 75, 105, 88, 108, and 15000.
