From the Excel QM ribbon, select Menu (Alphabetical or By Chapter). Select Assignment from the dropdown menu, and then input the number of assignments (3).
After entering the costs, click the Data tab and select Solver. Then click Solve.
A data table, from row 9 to row 12, has the column headers Project 1, Project 2, and Project 3. The row headers are Adams, Brown, and Cooper. All the data in this table are shown shaded.
Fill in the table with the costs, supplies, and demands.
The row values for Adams are 11, 14, and 6.
The row values for Brown are 8, 10, and 11.
The row values for Cooper are 9, 12, and 7.
