What’s in a Job Jackets file?
QuarkXPress Job Jackets are JDF-based XML files that contain a variety of specifications, including:
• Project-level resources for colors, style sheets, output styles, and color management
• Layout-level resources such as page size and orientation, output specifications, and rules to check against (for example, no spot colors)
• Information about the job (such as the job number) and contact information
The information in Job Jackets is organized into “Job Tickets” for creating individual layouts.
