Data within accounting programs is often trapped under glass, and not just in QuickBooks. Most users have constraints regarding how much they can customize reports. (See Chapter 6 for more information about customizing reports.) In Chapter 14 I discuss the Custom Report Builder that Advanced subscribers can use, but in this chapter I show you ways that you can unlock your accounting data with Excel.
