The QuickBooks application is highly customizable. This makes it possible to set up QuickBooks in a way that makes you more productive.

QuickBooks offers three types of customization options:

QuickBooks Preferences control general application operations, such as views, reminders, and menus. These options work throughout QuickBooks, no matter what company data file is open.
