Customizing QuickBooks
The QuickBooks application is highly customizable. This makes it possible to set up QuickBooks in a way that makes you more productive.
QuickBooks offers three types of customization options:
• QuickBooks Preferences control general application operations, such as views, reminders, and menus. These options work throughout QuickBooks, no matter what company data file is open.
• Company Settings are options specific to your company, such as its address, tax ID, invoice format, finance charges, and passwords. These settings vary from one company data file to another.
