This chapter describes some functions and packages for producing dynamic and interactive graphics. The core R graphics system is designed for producing static graphics, so this chapter introduces some new graphical concepts as well as a number of extension packages. As well as packages that provide ready-made interactive graphics, there is a section on packages that provide tools for developing new interactive graphics.
