Conventions

In this book, you will find a number of styles of text that distinguish between different kinds of information. Here are some examples of these styles, and an explanation of their meaning.

Code words in text, folder names, filenames, file extensions, pathnames, are shown as follows: “Properly configure CLASSPATH and your preferred development environment”.

A block of code is set as follows:

ConnectionFactory factory = new ConnectionFactory();
String uri=”amqp://user:pass@hostname:port/vhost”;
factory.setUri(uri);

Any command-line input or output is written as follows:

java -cp ./bin  rmqexample.Publish [Rabbitmq-host]
