To build vision-driven products, you need a culture that maximizes intrinsic motivation in employees. In their everyday work, employees repeatedly face the choice of taking shortcuts or putting in more effort; they have to choose between accumulating vision debt and investing in the vision. Motivated employees are more likely to invest in your collective vision.
