Forces Driving Change
Although new technologies such as the Web, Wireless Access Protocol (WAP), and Java play a part in the need for new project management models, the major forces are not technological. They are:
Driving Force 1—A power shift;
Driving Force 2—The free agent army; and
Driving Force 3—The global e-economy.
