In the previous chapter, we laid some of the groundwork for this one. Once you have carefully thought through your topic, research, and insights, and organized them in a planning document, it’s much easier to structure your report logically.

At this point, you may be thinking of standard templates you must use in the workplace, and we’ll cover their pros and cons later in this chapter. For now, though, this chapter may help you better use your templates, or even suggest revising them – so it’s worth reading through.
