IN ORDER TO clarify some common terms and principles, allow me to take a few pages of your time to define some areas where there could otherwise be confusion. If you are new to screenwriting, these few pages will be of interest because of the film industry information. If you are a seasoned industry insider, I hope these definitions and descriptions will shed a different light on what you already know.
