Our focus is on producing eggs to eat rather than incubating them to produce more chicks. However, if you’re trying to get a certain breed of chicken to reproduce, you may also want to read this chapter. Getting hens to produce eggs for hatching and getting them to produce eggs for eating have many similarities.
