Chapter 16: Setting Up a CI/CD Pipeline and Image Registry
This chapter covers Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and how they work with Rancher to deploy applications in standardized and controlled processes, including how injecting secrets such as database credentials into a deployment allows the application to use them without giving application teams access to the raw credentials. Then, this chapter covers how to set up and configure Harbor as a Docker image repository, including how to configure Harbor as a pull-through cache to work around the Docker Hub pull limits.
