Recovery Plan
A set of guidelines exists that can work to rescue floundering projects; the guidelines operate along the lines of people, process, and product. You can combine the practices in this book in endless ways to create an endless number of recovery plans. This section contains one such plan.
The plan in this chapter is designed to rescue projects that are in deep trouble. Those are the projects that need the most help, so I have described a thorough approach. If your project is not in that much trouble, you can use a less thorough approach. Adapt this project-recovery plan to the specific needs of your project.
