As the prevalence of portal technologies increases, being able to portalize a Lotus Notes application—that is, transition Domino data access and functionality from an existing Notes application into a portal-based application—is becoming an increasingly important skill for developers to have. This chapter describes how you can access and manipulate Domino data in a portlet.
