Abstract

This chapter proposes a dichotomy of RDF stores into two categories: native and non native. Native systems are not based on a pre-existing database management system but implement their on storage and indexing solutions according to the RDF data model peculiarities. The non-native systems are using an existing database management systems. In this category, we distinguish between stores based on RDBMS, including OBDA, and those using a one of the four NoSQL approaches.
