CHAPTER 5

THE FOUR MAIN TYPES OF ROs

Your current connection to the Target tells you what kind of Reach Out you are sending. There are four main different types of Reach Outs (ROs) that all Reach Out messages fall into:

1.  The Re-RO: Reaching Out to someone you already know from the past or someone you know currently but not well

2.  The Follow-Up RO: Reaching Out to someone you have met recently in passing in real life

3.  The Borrowed Connection RO: Reaching Out to a friend of a friend or being introduced by someone who has suggested you two should know each other

4.  The Cool RO: Reaching Out to someone with whom you have no direct connection

Let’s talk about what you can expect when starting to Reach Out to your own Targets.
