Brython (http://brython.info), a browser and Python implementation, is another example of an alternative to programming a browser in JavaScript, and while it would be a bit unfair to Brython to call it merely experimental, it is also not necessarily appropriate to call it mature—certainly not in the same sense that ClojureScript has some significant maturity. ClojureScript is developed well enough to essentially replace "bare metal" JavaScript for a frontend developer who'd really prefer to use Lisp rather than JavaScript.
