The Work Environment Inventory (WEI) developed by Teresa Amabile in collaboration with the Center for Creative Leadership assesses work environment factors that stimulate and hinder creativity. This paper describes the most recent WEI research and presents a model to guide future research and data feedback.

This study statistically examined the WEI based on a sample of 14 companies with 1,863 respondents. Previous WEI studies used much smaller samples.
