Put Your “I” on the Line
In the previous chapters, we discussed the first steps you will take to advance from leader to thought leader—how to identify your niche and your What If? future and begin to make the first ripples in your pond. But this transition is not exclusively about catalyzing conversations, building new initiatives, and securing buy-in from champions and allies. It is also an internal dialogue, one that often requires some soul-searching and the willingness to, as I call it, “put your ‘I’ on the line”—step into the spotlight as the person who is ready to lead the way.
