Handling Resource Sharing and Dependencies Among Real-Time Tasks
The different task scheduling algorithms that we discussed in the last chapter were all based on the premise that the different tasks in a system are all independent. However, that is rarely the case in real-life applications. Tasks often have explicit dependencies specified among themselves, however implicit dependencies are more common.
