Chapter 11. Special Topic: C4ISR Architecture and the UML
In the Department of Defense (DoD) world, the Command, Communications, Control, Computers, Intelligence, and Reconnaissance Architecture Framework (C4ISR-AF) specifies a unifying set of views of architecture. However, this architecture was published about the same time as the original UML specification and so did not use the UML notations or semantics. This chapter shows you how to represent the C4ISR products using the UML.
