I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Subject
The subject of your composite image and artwork is where the real creativity comes into play. Simply taking two dissimilar subjects and blending them together in Photoshop because you can is not really what this book is about. The goal is to leverage Photoshop as a tool for creating artworks that you and only you can envision based on your life experiences.
More questions than answers. Before you begin, you need to ask yourself the right questions in order to wind up with a positive result. What is your goal? Who is this work for? Sometimes only the artist sees the final art. Other times great art starts as a work-for-hire. It could even be a gift for a loved one. The point is to know your audience.
