The path to a camera's menu system differs from one camera to the next. With some, such as the Canon EOS 10D, you may be able to access it by simply pressing a Menu button on the back of the camera. With others, you might have to rotate a dial to a special position before you can bring up the menus. Some cameras, such as those in Nikon's Coolpix line, separate the menus into two sections: one for overall setup configuration that you access via a dial, and another with options that are available in the shooting modes and that you access with a button.
