Toning and Tinting Techniques

There are numerous ways that you can add a toning or colorization effect to a grayscale image in Photoshop. We'll explore a few of them here. If you're working with an image that's in grayscale mode, the first thing you need to do is convert it to RGB mode. You can find this command in the main menu under Image > Mode > RGB.
