Chapter Five. Industrial-Strength Sharpening Techniques: Using the Tools
Knowing your way around Adobe Photoshop CS4, Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw, and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom’s sharpening tools is a good start, but learning how to actually deploy them is the key to mastering sharpening, especially if you plan to use the workflow-based approach to sharpening that we outlined in Chapter 3, “Sharpening Strategies.” Multipass sharpening must be approached with care and diligence, lest you end up with an oversharpened mess.
