Appendix B. Macintosh vs. Windows
I know many hard-core Mac users who prefer to wear cloves of garlic (or rubber gloves) when working with computers based on Microsoft Windows. I also know Windows users who still think the Macintosh is just a toy. No matter what you think, two facts simply can’t be denied: First, there are lots more Windows boxes out there than Macs (though as I write this, there are still many more people doing electronic publishing on Macintoshes than on PCs). Second, increasingly, people have to use both platforms, sometimes at the same time.
