How did you get involved in video compression?

When I first started at Magnet Media as an intern two years ago, their primary focus was on video-based training. I often used uncompressed exports of screen-captured video out of Final Cut Pro to compress H.264 and Flash video for interactive DVD-ROMs and the Web. I have also worked on videos for Zoom In Online, Magnet’s site dedicated to creative professionals.
