Before you dive into the exercises, we need to talk about mindset, because your attitude towards the act of drawing will determine whether or not your journey will be successful. By “successful” I don’t simply mean that you learn to “draw better,” but that you find pleasure in your practice, want to maintain the habit of drawing, and enjoy the process with its successes and mistakes.
The sections that follow suggest some actions and attitudes you should follow.
