Chapter 3. Troubleshooting a Web Application

In the first and second chapters of this book, we covered the troubleshooting process, common locations for information, and useful troubleshooting commands. In this chapter, we will run through an example problem that has been created in order to demonstrate multiple troubleshooting and remediation steps. In particular, we will look at the steps required to troubleshoot issues with web-based applications.

Throughout this chapter, I will go through each step of the troubleshooting process and explain the reasoning behind each step.
