The Power of Five Calls
So how many calls do you think you can make in an hour? Believe it or not, you can actually make 20 to 30 calls per hour, but I am not going to hold you to that. Let’s stick with the lower boundary of five suggested earlier.
If you make five calls per hour, you will make 25 calls per day, since you will be in the new category, devoting five hours (or 65 percent) of your day to prospecting. Twenty-five calls per day amounts to 125 calls per week, or 6,250 per year.
On one hand, 6,250 calls are a lot! If you made this many incremental calls per year, they would surely have an impact on your business. On the other hand, 25 calls per day is not really too much to ask if you are in the new category. Remember, you really don’t ...
