Abstract

Health informatics would play crucial role during medical emergencies in the future world. Quick analysis of multi-parametric noisy data would be a major domain in virtual teaching learning pedagogy for the next generation medical fraternity. Analysis and visualization of medical data in turn would aid to take prompt clinical interventions and to device strategy for mitigation of large scale medical disasters, for example future crisis similar to present day COVID pandemic. In this study application of a citation & text management software REVMAN to analyse the extent of rare clinical and medical symptom of COVID namely “oral lesion and oral manifestations” is attempted. Four (4) data types regarding COVID symptoms were isolated from eight (8) global medical databases using BOOLEAN operator based optimized MeSH term (Medical Subject Headings) search. In this report the software is used for knowledge discovery through statistical terms of heterogeneity Tau2, Chi2, df & I2 with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) regarding the extent of the rare symptoms in general population.
