Abstract
India has a gorgeous custom of learning and edification right from the commencement of ancient times. Edification in India is on its drive experiencing various phases viz, Gurukul system of ancient times, schools teaching vedas, quaranic schools called madrasas, and even classroom-oriented teaching. One of the great examples for that is Nalanda Mahavihara called Nalanda University established by Kumargupta I of the Gupta dynasty in 5th century CE. It has now progressed to the level of virtual learning (VL), often known as eLearning. It is a learning system that is solely based on technology. This book chapter examines the pros and cons of VL in the educational system followed at India, as well as the elements that affect trainers, students, and the administrations. It is also to make an attempt towards exploring and analyzing the changing landscape of VL and teaching sector as well as future of virtual teaching and learning. It also includes a few suggestions for dealing with exceptional youngsters and SL. Teaching and Learning industry always has a heterogeneous mixture of students at various levels.
