17Perceptions of Teachers and Students on the Use of Google Classroom in Teaching–Learning Process

Abstract

The current investigation is an effort to explore the perceptions of teachers and Post Graduate students on the Use of Google Classroom in the teaching–learning process at Paschim Bardhaman District of West Bengal, India. The Descriptive survey method was employed. Total 30 teachers and 130 Post Graduate students from Kazi Nazrul University in Paschim Bardhaman District of West Bengal were taken as representative sample of the population as a whole. Simple random sampling technique was adopted to select the teachers and Post Graduate students. Perception Scale in Google form was utilized for gathering the data. Percentage, Mean, SD, t-test, ANOVA, and r (Correlation) were used to analyze the data. The study uncovered that the degree of perceptions of teachers and Post Graduate students on the Use of Google Classroom in Paschim Bardhaman District of West Bengal is average or moderate. The study additionally uncovered that perception of teachers and Post Graduate students on the Use of Google Classroom as for their Gender (Male-Female), Locality (Rural-Urban) did not differ significantly.
