How Can You Make People Accountable for Results and Motivated to Produce Them?

Expectations without accountability are false promises. Accountability matters at a personal level. Personal desires to lose weight, exercise more, save money, get more sleep, read more, make new friends, or learn a new skill become false hopes and discarded New Year’s resolutions without accountability.1 Even politicians who make election promises but do not honor them are unlikely to be reelected.
