CHAPTER 6: SALES – HEART OF THE BUSINESS

The traffic on the way to work was terrible. Four lanes of interstate all going about two miles an hour. I’d relied on the mapping program to find me a shorter way to work but it turned out yesterday had been one of those half-holidays where the government, schools and banks were the only things closed. It created travel more consistent with a Saturday than a weekday. But now things were back to normal and I was getting the full impact of what my commute would be on this route on normal days.
