Fault Tree Analysis for Composite Structural Damage
Abstract
This chapter proposed a new FTA to synthesize a diversity of damage modes and damage causes of the composite structure in a systematic manner on a macroscopic level. A typical composite panel made of CFRP was selected and three importance analyses including structural importance analysis, probability importance analysis, as well as relative probability importance analysis were conducted to rank various damage causes.
