RAMCHANDRAN (“JAI”) JAIKUMAR, an expert in manufacturing sciences, won widespread recognition in 1976 with the development of the world’s first multiplant, online production control and distribution system. He received his undergraduate education at the Indian Institute of Technology and held advanced degrees from the University of Oklahoma in engineering and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business in decision sciences.
