THOMAS MCCRAW is the Isidor Straus Professor of business history at Harvard Business School. Prior to joining the Harvard faculty, he earned a doctorate from the University of Wisconsin and taught at the University of Texas.
A prolific scholar, he is the author of American Business, 1920 −2000: How It Worked, editor of America Versus Japan, and co-author of Management Past and Present, among numerous other works. In addition to his own research and teaching, he also serves as editor of the Business History Review and lectures widely in the U.S. and abroad.
