  1. Tell us a little bit about your drawing practice.

    My drawing practice evolved directly from my sculpture and installation practices. My early art training was in two-dimensional disciplines, drawing and painting from life. Somewhere along the line, I began to feel constricted by that pedagogy. I went into an interdisciplinary graduate program with two goals: to experiment with whatever media best served the ideas at hand and to develop a meaty subject matter that could lead me on an extended path of research and art-making.
