10.5 N/O CASCADED BOOST CONVERTERS
This section introduces N/O cascaded boost converters. As P/O cascaded boost converters, these converters execute the SL technique [1,2].
The first three stages of the N/O cascaded boost converters and their main series are shown in Figures 10.46, 10.47, 10.48. For the sake of convenience, they are called elementary boost converter, two-stage boost circuit, and three-stage boost circuit, respectively, and numbered n = 1,2,and 3.
