I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
8. Place: Being There
For same time–same place collaboration—the topic of this book—it’s important to ensure that the physical space for your workshop is conducive to group work. In addition to finding a place of suitable size, you’ll need to attend to other logistical issues, such as access to wall space, equipment you’ll use during the workshop, and food. And remember to accommodate people’s needs during breaks, such as bathrooms and phones.
