Chapter 4. Setting up the Project

While working with RequisitePro and other Rational tools, we need to set up two kinds of projects:

  • A RequisitePro project, in which we specify RM-related settings, such as requirement types, requirement attributes, document types, and traceability rules

  • A Rational project that combines information from various Rational tools, such as RequisitePro, Rational Rose, ClearQuest Test Manager, ClearCase, and others

These two setups can be done in either order. We will first set up the RequisitePro project, and then we will attach it while setting up the Rational project.
