Critical chain project methodology (CCPM) extends the notion of the project’s critical path by accounting for resource loading and conflicts with other projects in the pipeline. In addition, it looks at how estimates are determined and defines a statistically more reliable method for generating them. This method of estimating changes the conditioned behavior of team members and management.
