Research Report

A research report deals with results of completed research work. After completing a research work, it is generally produced in the written form, which is called research report or thesis. This provides a detailed description of research activities. It has a variety of formats and varies in its length. It is written in past tense and third person. It is the final form of the research work. A research report usually includes the following chapters: Introduction of Theoretical Background, Review of Related Literature, Methodology, Data Collection, Analysis of Data, Discussion of Results and Findings of the Study, Bibliography and Appendices.
