Abstract
A comparison of the results of an assessment of the technical efficiency of innovativeness for 2005 and 2010 is presented in this paper. The intent is to show how capable the Innovation Union Scoreboard (IUS) is in the explanation of the innovation process in transforming innovation inputs into results or innovation outputs.
