Applied Observational Study

Abstract

Applied observational studies are likely the most common type of research conducted in the field of cyber security. The key difference between applied study and observational study is the differing scope. Applied study observes a specific subject for performance, function, security, etc. Fundamental observational study observes the entire system without presumption of behavior.
