Abstract
Digital marketing tools and techniques offer business owners the maximum probability of business growth. The aim of this chapter is to provide a better understanding of the ways in which search engine optimization (SEO) and web analytics function. It will help the reader understand the role of search engine optimization in the context of digital marketing and how to use the various available tools to evaluate the performance of a given website. This performance is analyzed using Google Analytics, wherein the website is built on WordPress. Visualization tools like Tableau and Google Data Studio are used for creating custom reports. SEO implementation is done using available tools in the market. Digital marketing will continue to grow in the future as it is a cost-effective method with proven results. The digital media industry has been successful, with a 40% growth rate which is not expected to slow down in coming years. Thus, the demand for search engine optimization and web analytics will keep on growing. This chapter shows the practical implementation of web analytics and how it can be used to grow digital property.
