Abstract
Traditional devices have become autonomous and connected in the era of Internet of Things (IoT). Blockchain has become a prominent solution that has the potential to change the way data is shared. IoT leverages disruptive technologies such as cloud computing and big data to deal with its limitations. So, the purpose of this study is to understand how the convergence of blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things (IoT) is leveraging social interactions and has brought about their transformation. This chapter will focus on the convergence of blockchain, AI and IoT technologies for improving social interactions and explore the ways in which they can work together to build new solutions. In order to fulfill the above objective, several secondary research papers, journals, dissertations, and online materials from the databases of EBSCO, Scopus and Emerald have been taken into account to discuss and understand the potential of these emerging technologies and to tap into their potential to build social interactions. Social interactions will be taken to a new level by the emerging technologies of IoT, blockchain and AI.
