Television over the Internet

TV broadcasters today do not deliver programming over the Internet. A few radio stations broadcast live on www. broadcast.com , but you don't see Disney or CBS/Viacom do the same. The reasons for this are part technical and part commercial. The commercial issues are discussed first. Key issues are listed here:
